Everyone wants to keep their Roblox account safe and secure! 2-Step Verification is an important step that you can take to help make sure that no one else can login to your account.
What is 2-Step Verification?
2-Step Verification adds an extra layer of security to your Roblox account. In addition to your username and password, you'll enter a 6-digit security code that Roblox sends you via email when you log in from a new device. Since only you have access to your email account, only you will be able to get the security code. It is important you maintain ownership and enable security on your email account.
Note: 2-Step Verification is also referred to as 2SV for short and, on other platforms, it may be called Two-Factor Authentication or 2FA.
Steps to enable 2-Step Verification:
Go to your Account Settings Security page while logged in.
Make sure your email address is verified. Read the Verify Your Email Address help article for information on how to verify your email address.
Click the toggle button to enable 2-step verification.

The toggle button will turn green and a notification window will pop up. Make sure to read the message then click OK.

Now that 2-Step Verification is enabled, the confirmation that you've enabled it displays.

Steps to disable 2-Step Verification:
Go to your Account Settings Security page while logged in.
Click the toggle button to disable 2-step verification.

A notification window will pop up. Make sure to read the message and if you want to disable 2-step verification, click Yes.

Now that 2-Step Verification is disabled, the confirmation that it's ready to be enabled is displayed.
